Martin Breum

One of Denmark’s leading observers of developments in the Arctic and the Commonwealth of the Realm (Denmark, Greenland, and the Faroe Islands). He has written several books on the Arctic and Greenland. Martin Breum graduated from the Danish School of Journalism in 1982 and has since worked as a journalist at, e.g., the Danish newspaper Information, the monthly news magazine PRESS, and DR’s TV-Avisen, the leading Danish TV news program. Furthermore, he has worked as a correspondent, as a course leader in Africa for five years, and as Deputy Director of International Media Support. From 2003 to 2014, he hosted DR2’s news program Deadline. Martin Breum is a recurring chair and moderator at the Future Greenland conferences.

Maja Motzfeldt-Haahr

Owner of the consulting company TUC Greenland, working with employee and management development. Previously worked at Air Greenland and Kalaallit Forsikring, a local insurance company. Maja Motzfeldt-Haahr debuts as chair and moderator at the Future Greenland conference.

Christian Keldsen

Director of Greenland Business Association (GBA) since November 1, 2020. Former Commercial Director at Air Greenland. Co-founder of Visiobox Consulting in Nuuk, which works with management and strategy development in the public and private sectors. Christian Keldsen holds a Master of Arts in Law and is an Honorary Consul of England and Northern Ireland.

Múte Bourup Egede

Premier of Greenland since April 23, 2021. Chairman of the Inuit Ataqatigiit party since 2018. Member of Inatsisartut (Greenland’s Parliament) since 2015. Múte Bourup Egede has studied Cultural and Social History at Ilisimatusarfik, University of Greenland.

Lars Løkke Rasmussen

Former Prime Minister of Denmark. Non-Attached Member of Folketinget (Denmark’s Parliament). Founder of the party Moderaterne (the Moderates). Former Chairman of the Liberal Party of Denmark. Lars Løkke Rasmussen holds a Master of Arts in Law. He is a former County Mayor in Frederiksborg County, Denmark, former Minister of Health, and former Minister of Finance.

Martin Lidegaard

Member of Folketinget (Denmark’s Parliament) and deputy chairman of the Danish Social Liberal Party’s parliamentary group. He is the party’s spokesperson on, e.g., cases concerning Greenland and the Faroe Islands. Martin Lidegaard holds a Master of Arts in Communication and is a former Foreign Minister and Minister of Climate, Energy, and Building.

Aaja Chemnitz Larsen

Member of Folketinget (Denmark’s Parliament) for Inuit Ataqatigiit since 2015. Chairman of Folketinget’s Greenland Committee. Member of Inatsisartut (Greenland’s Parliament) 2014-2018. Aaja Chemnitz Larsen holds a Master of Science in Public Administration.

Carl Bildt

Former Prime Minister of Sweden 1991-1994 and Minister of Foreign Affairs 2006-2014. Chairman of the Moderate Party in Sweden 1986-2001. In 1995, Carl Bildt was the EU peace mediator in the former Yugoslavia. The same year, he participated in the negotiations leading up to the Daytona Agreement, and, from 1995 to 1997, he was the High Representative of the International Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. From 1999 to 2001, he was the UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy to the Balkans. Carl Bildt has been extremely active in several international organizations and think tanks for many years.

Lars Sandahl Sørensen

CEO of the Confederation of Danish Industry (DI) since August 2019. Former Executive Vice President of SAS, where he, among other things, was at the forefront of the company’s development and transformation initiatives and head of a number of the SAS Group’s companies. Lars Sandahl-Sørensen has previously been a senior adviser to several investment companies and private equity funds. In addition, he has been the Commercial Director at group level in ISS Group, CEO of Visit Denmark, senior consultant in DI’s international areas, and employed by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Lars Sandahl-Sørensen has an international education in management, strategy, finance, and economics. He has lived and worked in, e.g., Japan, Great Britain, the USA, and Australia.

Naaja Hjelholt Nathanielsen holds a Master of Arts in Psychology and is the former Director of the Prison and Probation Services in Greenland.

She is a former CEO of the Freeway Group, which operates, owns, and develops several popular websites and portals, and assists entrepreneurs in developing their companies. Mia Wagner holds a Master of Arts in Law.
